Trip to the Printers today

Good idea. Have to check with my local printers.
local printer said it wasn't a big enough job. Kinko's for $13.50. Had to split the main manual into 2 separate books, because they could only do up to an inch thick. Makes it a lot easier to view and also make a copy of a page so that the book doesn't get trashed.

Took my Service manuals to the local offset printing company. Had them spiral bound. $10 well spent IMO. :)

I had a $50 gift certificate and cashed it in at my local dealers yesterday. I got the touring and supplement manuals at half off with the use of the GC. Today I had FedEx spiral bind the 2 manuals. Cost me just less than $12.00. So much easier to peruse now.

I had all the manuals 3 hole punched and shaved the glue binding off. Kinkos, 5.00 per manual. The good thing about single pages, you can take out the pages you need and not have to balance the entire manual when working on the trike. A large paper clip with a magnet works real nice and keeps the pages off the ground. Jim

used to have all my manuals 3 hole punched but found that for me it is better with the spiral binding. I even do paperback books I want to keep (One Man Caravan,Around the World on a Motorcycle etc)
