I was told that the rear lights on the fenders were LED but the Harley Shop said they were just regular bulbs, I have a 2015 coming soon and want to go to LED if this is true but I see in the Parts book they get $349 for them, rather pricey

Another vote for Bright Ass Lights. ThumbUp They tend to get folks attention...especially those that get a bit too close.
I recently installed these on my '14 Tri Glide and discovered an interesting feature. You will notice the turn signal indicator blinks much faster. Unlike an Ultra these lights perform a dual purpose: brake light AND turn signal. They strobe nicely as a turn indicator. IMHO another nice attention grabbing feature.

I am extremely mechanically challenged. I was able to install Truck Lites on my headlight and passing lamps. Took me awhile because I did steps out of order. Even installed the Halo Light with trim. That's the one I had trouble with.
I was also able to install the BAL-1's on the rear. The hardest part for me was getting the gasket lined up correctly. All truely plug and play. Had to call into BAL (BrightAssLights) for help programing them, didn't come with instructions.
If anyone has instructions on how to program them, please PM them to me!
