After 3 surgeries on my knee, I thought I was strong enough to get back on 2 wheels. I guess not.
Several Forum members helped me get through all the ups and downs with each surgery and with the trike builds. I can never thank you enough.
Who would ever think a Titanium Knee would break? Mine did. I was hoping to never go through
another surgery.
I get the privilege of getting another new knee the 21st of November. (No Warranty on the first).

Like I said in the title, why did I sell my trike?:gah:

Note: Thanks to all the veterans and their families for the sacrifices they have made. Happy Veterans Day.

Good luck on the unexpected surgery ,I know how that feels while not a knee I had my guts re routed thanks to a bad surgery , I will not be going back to two wheels on any bike more heavy than a moped.

Hate to hear you are having more surgery, Bryan! Fortunately, you can always replace the trike. Nice to have you back, by the way :)

How do you break a Titanium knee Bryan?

Re-replacement on 2 October. First total knee 4 yrs ago. Bottom part pulled out of the tibia. This time the spike that goes into the center of the bone - instead of being 1 3/8" long - new one is almost 5" long came loose. (Probably because of a couple bike tip overs - I bought a 750 shadow while my trike was being fixed.)

Started riding trike 8 days ago. A little painful to get on, and after about 5 hours in the saddle, then the new knee really says I have to ride some other time.

Problem with signature photo. Will work on it.

Running away from Mamma with that big stick of her's.

Chit Brian... You'll need a trike. Can't fly with all the metal in ya. :D:D

You also know we will find you another one, right?? You say the word. Randy will write the check, no worries.

We did hook him up on the last one didn't we Wiz...that one worked out real nice, we can do another one any time.

Thanks for the replies. I think mine is similar to Blueribbon's . I guess the Deuce was to heavy. The bottom of the knee mount broke from my tibia. Anybody have a trike for rent? Ha Ha

On trike rentals, check with Eagle Rentals in your area. The two in our area both have GW trikes for rent at about $250 per day, but if you do it on a week day, then the second day is free.

Hello everyone. Have not got on a bike since September. Wish I could remember who I sold my trike to. I would like to try to buy it back? All I remember is he lived near Ft Myers, Fl.

Hey Wiz. I was looking at my bike in the garage this weekend, it had a quarter inch of dust all over it. I have the need to ride.

Well dog gone it, with no warranty on the first knee perhaps you keep the darn thing and turn it into a tail light bracket on the next trike you build?

I wish you a speedy recovery and hope your on the road soon.

After Randy installed the Champion conversion, I thought it couldn't get much better.
Dave tuned it perfectly. I needed nothing else but time to ride.
So this brings me back to the Thread title, why did I sell it? I am getting senile.

Sounds familiar... I have mine under a sheet sitting on the lift. Haven't ridden in months and months. Don't know when I'll get to ride again. :Dorag:

Way too much chit going on keeping me grounded but Bryan has no excuse. Time to get on his bike and ride. If he wants another trike then I'm sure there's one out there with his name on it.ThumbUpThumbUp

So sorry to read about the knee, and the trike:(, I to tried to return to 2 whler, but triking is now my only way to ride.
best of luck w/ the knee.

I remembered who I sold it to. I called him. He said he won't sell it.. I ended up buying a 2014 Tri-Glide.
I'm back in the saddle.
